Introduction to Person-Centered Planning
About this session:
You will receive an overview of Person-Centered Thinking and Planning by a certified PCT Trainer for The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices envisions a world where all people have positive control over the lives they have chosen for themselves.
Our efforts focus on people who have lost or may lose positive control because of society's response to the presence of a disability. With Person Centered Planning being required in service delivery by the Department of Developmental Services, Self-Determination and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid, we all need to learn about person-centered approaches and how those practices may improve the quality of life for those that use services.
Trudy Grable is a Certified Person Centered Thinking Trainer by The Learning Community, an International Organization. She has 25 years experience working with families of all types of special needs. She received her Early Childhood Intervention Certificate at Santa Clara University.
