The Intersection Between State and Federal Policy and Service Delivery for Adults with Autism
During this session, participants will learn about policy initiatives at the federal level, including the Home and Community-Based Services Final Rule and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act. The presenter will also provide information about California’s response to these changes and explore the impact of this on service delivery in the state to adults with autism.
Amy Westling is the Director of Policy for the Association of Regional Center Agencies (ARCA). Prior to joining ARCA, she worked for Central Valley and Alta California Regional Centers as well as Disability Rights California.
